Isn’t May wonderful?

The trees are turning those wonderful colours, and that autumn sun… wonderful!

To celebrate, perhaps you’d like to come along to the next Theatresports® Waldorf Salad show, which is on Friday night, 25th May.

This is one of only two long-running impro shows in the Blue Mountains, which brings to the Resort’s dinner guests an evening of sketch-comedy, presented without scripts and using audience suggestions. This show plays on the last Friday of every month, and every show is absolutely unique.

Theatresports® is a live show format which originated in Canada and was imported to Australia more than 30 years ago. Bryan Cutts, the founder and director of Theatresports® Blue Mountains was involved in those early years, playing in the Sydney shows at Belvoir Street Theatre.

Since then, the troupe has grown include other Blue Mountains performing artistes including Costa Karagounis, who is appearing in the Glenbrook Players’ May production of the Elephant Man (go and see it – closes Saturday 12th May). Other Theatresports® regulars include Aaron Wormald, Janet Smith and Abigail Cases.

At the Leura Resort you’ll be served with a sumptuous meal, and then you’ll be treated to the best Impro-show in the Blue Mountains. The whole family is invited too… and anyone who is a feeling a bit more adventurous might even have the opportunity to join in, on stage!

Whatever you do, make sure you book a table – tickets are selling now!
