Simon has been working with Entertainment Blue Mountains since 2010, initially as an improviser, before taking on a  more active role with EBM as an writer, actor and director.

His first writing project with EBM is The Wollemi Warrior Adventure, was commissioned by The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah. Subsequently he’s directed this interactive childrens’ show which has regularly been performed since 2012, including touring to Sydney.

As an actor, Simon plays the larger-then-life Harry Secombe in EBM’s long-running The Goon Show LIVE!

Simon’s been a poet/writer for a long time, with poetry published in several magazines including Juossour and Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal. He has also been published online; the most recent online poem was published on Blognostics in response to Challenge 4.

He has written an award-winning one-act play, and has appeared in Theatresports™, both Kosher and in the Blue Mountains.

Simon has collaborated in the creation of “The Old Casino Writers Club” a monthly reading in Rozelle, and additionally produced a theatrical performance of Australian Bush Poetry.
